The event was held in Krasnodar on November 1. The conference was a continuation of the "Masters of Russia: Made in German" Exhibition dedicated to the achievements of German business.
The Governor noted that Kuban is one of the leaders of the Russian agricultural sector. The region produces about 7% of all agricultural products in the country.
The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Russian Federation, Géza Andreas von Geyr, greeted the conference participants via video communication from Moscow and noted that the Krasnodar Region has great potential for the development of Russian-German relations. Large German companies invest in the region creating eco-efficient manufacturing facilities.
The event was also attended by the Head of the German Economy in Russia, Matthias Schepp; the Honorary Consul of Germany in Krasnodar, the General Director of CLAAS LLC, Ralph Bendish; the General Director of Kuehne + Nagel, Perry Neumann, and the Vice-Governor of Kuban, Andrey Korobka.
They discussed using modern technologies to reduce the load on the land, reduce the use of machinery and diesel fuel, as well as the problem of improving fertility, supporting the investment climate, and developing the export of Kuban products.
